Listen To Nothing

If you spend most of your time listening to music or podcasts on Airpods or headphones, spend one day a week without them.

Listen to the sounds around you: the city, the people, noises… the world.

We’re always listening to a song, or a podcast, or watching an endless stream of TikToks.

It seems counterintuitive, but when we’re in a creative rut or uninspired the best thing to listen to is nothing.

When you shut them off, you hear nothing for a few minutes.

You fidget and get uncomfortable with the silence.

But if you can get past the anxiety, later on you start to hear yourself.
